THE PTA DOES THAT!
Every year we welcome kindergarten and new families to help make the transition easier.
Hosted free community events like Trunk or Treat and Nestfest that was attended by 300+ students and their families.
Constructed the EPIC Garden Project (2021) for a sensory friendly play garden for the students.
Hosted the Back to School Swap, providing free school supplies including book bags, lunch boxes and essential items for families in need.
Raised $30k (2022) and $40k (2023) towards ENCORE programs and staff.
Advocated to continue years of grade level traditional field trips including the 5th grade National Aquarium, 4th grade Jamestown, and 3rd grade National Zoo field trips that otherwise would have been cancelled. The PTA paid $8,000 (2024) towards educational field trips and vow to continue doing so for years to come.

The PTA will support a remodel of the school's library. Enhancing the library with comfortable seating areas designed to provide students with a welcoming and productive environment for reading, studying, and collaboration. Check back for pictures in the next few weeks!
