Hi Springwoods families!  I am Alex, my husband Chris and I moved to Lake Ridge in 2020.  Our son Charlie is going into the 4th grade.  We are a big soccer family and spend a lot of time at Howison Field.  When we aren't at practice we love to travel especially anywhere with sunshine and a beach!

I work for UVA Darden supporting both the Rosslyn and Charlottesville locations.  GO HOOS!  

I am excited to be your President for a second year!  I can't wait to see all we can accomplish this year.

Hey Springwoods family! My name is Michelle and this is my third year on the PTA board. I am a stay at home mom of three of a 5th grader, 2nd grader and Pre-K! We have lived in Lake Ridge since 2013.

I am active in volunteering in many other programs in our community including the Woodbridge Little League, Old Bridge Breakers, coaching with the LRPA and SEAS.

I first joined the PTA to connect with the school community post COVID. I continue being a part of the PTA board to support the hardworking teachers and staff.

Hi Springwoods families! My name is Valerie Porter, and this is my 2nd year on the PTA board. I am married to my husband, Spencer, and we have two kids. Brooklyn will be in 1st grade at Springwoods this year, and Barrett is three years old. My husband and I have both lived in Woodbridge our entire lives and both attended Springwoods for elementary school. Being on the board is a full-circle moment for me.

I am excited to plan the events this year for all of the Springwoods families and get to know more of the families that go to the school!

Hi Springwoods! I am Matt Martin, my wife Emily and I are proud parents of a Springwoods 3rd and 1st grader this year. I work at the Library of Congress, managing more than 22 million books in the Library’s general collection.  

This is my 2nd year on the PTA and I am looking forward to supporting the Springwoods community.

Hi Springwoods! My name is Jenn and my family moved to Lake Ridge in fall 2020. We’ve loved being part of the Springwoods family the last couple years.  We have two boys; one rising 3rd grader, and the other a rising 1st grader.  They are very excited to be at the same school and walk together each day. I work for JMU as an academic advisor – Go Dukes!

This will be my 2nd year with the PTA team and in my role as the VP of Staff and Family Relations. I’m excited to get involved with more of our amazing teachers, staff, and families, I and look forward to meeting more of you this year!

Hello Springwoods Eagles my name is Michael Ullmann this is my 3rd year on the PTA board. My wife Andrea and I have lived in Woodbridge since 2013. Our daughter Hannah is a third grader and our son Alex is a future Eagle. Our family loves to bike ride, ski and go to the beach. We love to meet and connect with families at Springwoods.

By profession I am a loan officer so I love working with numbers. I look forward to making sure we keep a balanced budget this year and beyond.

Hello Springwood Eagles!

I'm Nazia Sharif, and thrilled to be joining the PTA as your Secretary! My husband, Ramzan, and I are the proud parents of twin boys, Ibrahim and Noah, who will be starting 1st grade this fall. We truly enjoyed our first year at Springwood and are excited to get even more involved. 

As VP of Operations for a cybersecurity company, I bring strong organizational and communication skills to this role, which I'm eager to leverage for the PTA. Having grown up in Woodbridge, it's been wonderful to return to the area to raise our family. When we're not hosting our large family gatherings, you'll often find us traveling to new destinations around the world or simply relaxing at the beach. I'm ready to help make this a great year for Springwoods!
