I'm Alex Lungi, and I'm excited to serve as your PTA President for my third year. My husband, Chris, and I moved to Lake Ridge in 2020, and our son, Charlie, is a rising 5th grader at Springwoods.

We are a big soccer family, so you'll usually find us at Howison Park. When we're not on the field, we enjoy traveling—especially anywhere with sunshine and a beach!

Professionally, I'm a Portfolio Director for Compass Group North America, supporting hospitality operations for higher education clients, including UVA Darden—Go Hoos!

Serving the Springwoods community has been incredibly rewarding, and I can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together this year!

Hi Springwoods! Matt and I are proud parents of a Springwoods 4th and 2nd grader this year. Matt works at the Library of Congress, managing more than 22 million books in the Library’s general collection.  

This is my 3rd year on the PTA and I am looking forward to supporting the Springwoods community.

I'm Nazia Sharif and this will be my 2nd year on the PTA! My husband, Ramzan, and I are the proud parents of twin boys, Ibrahim and Noah, who will be starting 2nd grade this fall.

As VP of Operations for a cybersecurity company, I bring strong organizational and communication skills to this role, which I'm eager to leverage for the PTA. Having grown up in Woodbridge, it's been wonderful to return to the area to raise our family. When we're not hosting our large family gatherings, you'll often find us traveling to new destinations around the world or simply relaxing at the beach. I'm ready to help make this a great year for Springwoods!

Greetings Springwoods families! I'm Katara Giles, and I'm excited to serve as your VP of School and Community Programs. My husband, Richard, and I have two children who will be in first and third grade during the 2026–27 school year. Professionally, I work at Salesforce, where I help Public Sector customers solve complex business challenges and realize the value of their investment quickly. While at Salesforce, I've have the distinct privilege of leading large-scale community and leadership initiatives by serving as the Global President of a business resource group.

I thoroughly enjoy bringing people together, building meaningful partnerships, and creating opportunities that make a positive impact. I'm grateful for the opportunity to give back to the Springwoods community and look forward to working alongside our families, teachers, and staff to help make this a wonderful school year for every student! 

Hello Springwoods Eagles my name is Michael Ullmann this is my 3rd year on the PTA board. My wife Andrea and I have lived in Woodbridge since 2013. Our daughter Hannah is a fourth grader and our son Alex is a future Eagle. Our family loves to bike ride, ski and go to the beach. We love to meet and connect with families at Springwoods.

By profession I am a loan officer so I love working with numbers. I look forward to making sure we keep a balanced budget this year and beyond.

I'm Jenna Thorn, and I'm excited to serve as your PTA Secretary this year. My husband and I are the proud parents of two Springwoods Eagles—a rising 2nd grader and a rising 5th grader. We've lived in the area since 2019 and have been part of the Springwoods community since 2021.

I'm a stay-at-home mom, and there's a good chance you've seen me around the school volunteering throughout the week for various activities and events. When our family isn't traveling, you can usually find us at the hockey rink, the gymnastics gym, or on the soccer field cheering on our kids.

I'm looking forward to serving and supporting our wonderful Springwoods community this school year. I can't wait to get to know even more of our amazing families!
